On April 19, 2011, Porsche released the official picture of the Panamera Turbo S model on the first day of the Shanghai Auto Show.
In terms of power, the 4.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine delivers 550 horsepower and 750 N·m (800 N·m in supercharged mode), which is a lot better than the 500-horsepower and 700-N·m of the Panamera Turbo. The 100-km acceleration time of the new car was shortened to 3.8 seconds and the speed reached 306km/h.
The Panamera Turbo S is equipped with a new titanium-aluminium turbocharger and comes standard with the PDCC Dynamic Chassis Control. The Panamera Turbo S is priced at 167,000 Euros in Germany and the new car will start selling in June this year.
