1 Introduction
The urban sewage treatment system mainly deals with the sewage generated in human life. At present, most of the urban sewage treatment processes use the first-level treatment and the second-level treatment. The first-level treatment is mainly to use physical methods to remove large suspended solids and particles in the sewage through grid interception and sedimentation. The secondary treatment often uses biochemical methods to remove the wastewater through microbial life movements and other means. Suspension, soluble organics, nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus. Affected by the characteristics of the sewage treatment process, urban sewage treatment plants often occupy a relatively large area, and the number of mechanical equipment and meters is relatively large. Mechanical equipment and instruments often have Profibus field bus interfaces. The control system that supports Profibus field bus technology can be used. Save a lot of cables, facilitate maintenance, and fully coordinate the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the main equipment of the whole plant.
2. System Design and Application

According to the sewage treatment process and equipment location, as shown in Figure 1, SUPMAX800 control system is configured with 4 pairs of DPU and Profibus DP master station, respectively pre-processing control station (1 pair), biochemical treatment control station (2 pairs), Blower dehydrator control station (1 pair). The equipment controlled by the pre-processing control station is mainly concentrated in the inflow wells, fine grids, swirling grit chambers, confluent wells, switch wells, and sewage pumping stations in the plant. The equipment controlled by the biochemical treatment control station is mainly concentrated in the rapid mixing pool, the biological flocculation reaction tank, the advection sedimentation tank, the return flow, and the excess sludge pump unit. The equipment controlled by the blower dehydrator control station is mainly concentrated in the export pump room, the sewage plant outlet well, the plant rainwater pump room blower room, the dosing room and the chemical storage tank, the sludge thickening tank, the sludge conditioning tank, the dewatering machine room, etc. .
The Profibus PA bus is mainly connected to smart pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, and liquid level transmitters that conform to the Profibus PA protocol, as well as analytical instruments. The Profibus DP bus is mainly connected to various inverters, smart motor controllers, and electric actuators that comply with the Profibus DP protocol. Various equipment including grille, blower, sewage pump, return sludge pump, surplus sludge pump, dehydrator, agitator, scraper, electric valve, gate, electric throttle, conveyor and various water level gauges and water quality Analytical instruments, etc. are used for data acquisition and control via Profibus fieldbus, and the chaining of key equipment is achieved to automate the entire wastewater treatment process.
