Dalian Shipai's first 6G50ME-C green environmental protection host successfully submitted inspection

On July 13, 2017, the first 6G50ME-C green environmental protection host built by Dalian Shipai successfully passed the test. The mainframe will be installed on the 72,000-ton crude oil ship built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. for Dalian COSCO Shipping Oil Transportation Co., Ltd.

It is reported that the maximum power of the 6G50ME-C main engine is 8820 kW. Compared with the S-type main engine, it has longer stroke and lower rotation speed, which makes the machine propeller with higher efficiency and lower fuel consumption. The main design of the mainframe, equipped with LDCL system, RDL cylinder liner, EGB valve adjustment, bearing wear monitoring, new fuel (ELFI) and exhaust (ELVA) control valves, has been extended to meet the needs of humanized design. The maintenance interval of the host reduces the shipowner's operating costs.

The successful development of the G50ME-C mainframe further enhanced the manufacturing capacity of Dalian Shipai's green and environmentally-friendly intelligent low-speed marine diesel engine, laying a solid foundation for occupying a strong position in the fierce market competition.
