Fatty Acid Project Produces Qualified Products Nanfeng Group Successfully Enters into Oil Industry

After 72 hours of continuous operation, Nanfeng Chemical Group Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 15,000 tons of fatty acids. The project has recently produced qualified products such as fatty acids and glycerin, and the cost has reached the desired target. The success of the test of this project indicates that Nanfeng Group is really involved in the oleochemical industry.

The fatty acid project was one of the four key projects of the Nanfeng Group in 2004. It started on April 1, 2004, with a total investment of about 32 million yuan. The trial was put into trial production in January 2005 and the trial test in May 2005 was successful. According to design capacity, the project will annually produce 20,000 tons of fatty acid sodium and 1,500 tons of medical grade glycerine, which is a production line with complex technology, high technical content, and synchronization with international standards.

In January 2004, Nanfeng Group seized the opportunity of relocating an enterprise in southwestern China to repurchase the high-pressure continuous hydrolysis equipment that was imported from Germany and Italy and operated for only 68 days at a more appropriate price. At present, China has imported 4 sets of such production equipment from abroad, and 2 of them have successfully operated. Nanfeng Group attaches great importance to this project and fully guarantees human resources, material resources, and funds. It has held several special meetings to deploy and solve engineering and technical problems. The project team has overcome many difficulties in climate, environment, and technology. It took only one year to complete the project and successfully put it into operation.
