“Hope 3†is the third of the cylindrical ultra-deep water series marine drilling platforms undertaken by COSCO Shipyard. The design, procurement, overall construction and installation and commissioning of all equipment are completed by Qidong COSCO, a subsidiary of COSCO Shipyard. During the construction process, “Hope 3†fully absorbed the construction experience of the first two platforms, optimized in technical design, material procurement, construction plan, equipment logistics, facility maintenance and maintenance, and cost control, and further adopted digital construction technology. Promote modular construction and realize the integration of “shell, concrete and coating†and no-maintenance construction mode, so that the platform can be delivered in advance.
