Shrink Lidding Film refers to a lidding film with a certain shrinkage ability. They generally use PE as the basic material. If necessary, PVDC or EVOH can be used as a barrier layer to achieve the oxygen barrier function. Shrink lidding film is generally used for MAP Trays and VSP Trays. Of course it can also be used in Canned Fruit cup packaging, greatly extending its shelf life. The use of Shrink lidding film can make the packaging tighter and give the product a smoother appearance. For VSP, Shrink lidding film enables higher vacuum levels, longer shelf life and stronger packaging. For MAP, Shrink lidding film keeps the packaging flat and does not produce wrinkles by virtue of its shrinkage, so that the gas inside the MAP maintains a fixed proportion, which greatly prolongs the validity period of the food.
