The world's first high-power heavy thin seam shearer off the assembly line

Recently, the MG2×200/925-AWD (3.3 kV) thin coal seam AC traction shearer was successfully rolled off at Xi’an Heavy Industry Equipment Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd. The shearer is a heavy equipment designed for high-production and high-efficiency full-mechanized mining face in thin seams and is the world's first high-power heavy-duty thin coal shearer. The machine has a height of 2.5 meters; the height of the plane is 930 millimeters. It has the features of large installed power, low fuselage height, short length, complete protection and easy maintenance, and has a memory cutting function.
With the adjustment of China's energy structure and the requirements of building a conservation-oriented society, coal producers are paying more and more attention to the mining of thin coal seams. The successful development of high-power heavy-duty thin coal seam shearers marks the beginning of the development of thin coal seam mining equipment in China, which will play an important role in improving the level of thin coal seam mining, saving resources, and increasing coal mining.
