Therefore, it is very important to accurately, rapidly and stably detect nitrogen in steel and provide powerful inspection data for production processes.

Previously, the inspection station has been using traditional oxygen and nitrogen analyzers to detect nitrogen in steel. It is difficult and time-consuming to prepare samples. The analysis speed is slow and the inspection cost is high. In the face of continuously increasing inspection quantity and requirements for reduction of inspection costs, the technical staff of the station decided to break through the limitations of traditional inspection methods. After rigorous analysis and demonstration of related equipment, according to the advantages of the instrument itself, the relevant parameters of the direct reading spectrometer The reset and optimization were carried out, and through a large number of tests, the parameters and conditions suitable for the analysis of nitrogen were finally determined.

The use of direct reading spectrometer to test the nitrogen in steel, the sample preparation is simple, the analysis speed, the sample test time is 10 minutes faster than the original, reducing the labor intensity of the workers, improve the timeliness of the test. For each sample tested, only one item was saved, and at least 12 yuan was saved, effectively saving inspection costs.
