For example, in the general rubber compounding equipment, except for the ultra-size mixers, other equipment is basically domestically produced; the localization rate of all-steel tire forming machines has reached more than 90%; the semi-steel tires are close to 100%; the domestic vulcanizing machines have been completely To replace imports, and has become the world's largest supplier of mechanical vulcanizers; rubber equipment, in addition to relying on imports of high-end equipment, the rest have been made. It is also learned that from 2003 to 2005, the new production capacity of domestic RTR radial tires will be more than 15 million sets, and a total of 7.5 billion yuan will be required for rubber machinery; from 2004 to 2006, new production capacity of semi-steel radial tires will be 60 million. According to statistics, the export of rubber machines in 2002 and 2003 were 20 million and 35 million U.S. dollars, respectively, while imports were as high as 450 million U.S. dollars.
