
China Drying Network News Zhongtai Chemical announced on November 8th that the company's holding company Xinjiang Zhongtai Chemical Fukang Energy Co., Ltd. had a 400,000-ton/year PVC resin and a 300,000-ton/year ion-exchange membrane caustic soda project. A power transmission was successful on November 1, 2012, and all processes were completed to produce a qualified ion-exchange membrane caustic soda. On November 7, a qualified polyvinyl chloride resin was produced.
Previously, the first-phase production of 400,000 tons of polyvinyl chloride resin and 300,000 tons of ion-exchange membrane caustic soda recycling projects in Phase 1 of Fukang Energy was completed and put into operation on September 22, 2012.
Zhongtai Chemical Co., Ltd. said that the 2×15-million-kw thermal power cogeneration plant for the construction of the chlor-alkali project and the 600,000-ton/year calcium carbide and 600,000 kilowatt self-supply power plant project of Sino-Thai Mining and Mining will also be put into operation before the end of the year. Among them: China-Thai Mining and Metallurgy No. 1, No. 2, No. 5, No. 6 calcium carbide furnace and No. 1 generator set have been put into operation.
