Recently, Reuters, Fortune and other foreign media also pointed out that Samsung Electronics will provide autopilot chip support for Tesla electric vehicles. The Korea Electronic Times quoted an anonymous source but did not mention the specific amount of the cooperation order in the report. So far, Samsung Electronics and Tesla have not responded to this report.

Reuters pointed out that starting with Model 3, Samsung SDI will be responsible for the battery supply of all Tesla electric vehicles. The Nikkei News even revealed that a large number of Samsung SDI batteries have been shipped to Tesla's R&D center in California. However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk denied these rumors on Twitter and determined that Panasonic is the exclusive battery supplier for Model 3.
