Weighing instrument module and weighing device compatibility

Digital, integrated, networked and intelligent weighing instruments will become the development direction and focus of the weighing industry in the world. Because OIMLR76-12006(E) version allows type approval certificate for the module, when the type-based weighing instrument is approved in type, as long as the module type approval certificate and relevant information are submitted, the structure submits the module and the whole scale according to the weighing instrument requirements. Whether the inter-compatibility meets the requirements and some tests that can be completed only under the condition of the whole scale can obtain the complete type approval certificate (permit).

During the compatibility check, the performance data of the weighing instrument and the selected module needs to be checked to determine whether the selected module can meet the expected metering performance of the instrument. Weighing modules typically include load cells, weighing instruments (weighing indicators), analog or digital data processing devices, weighing modules, terminals, and main displays.

The role of the weighing instrument is to magnify the voltage or current signal obtained by the load cell and display the weight of the object on the weighing platform in digital display. General weighing instruments are composed of A/D conversion circuits (including analog amplification, filtering, A/D chips), CPU processors, digital displays, keyboards, and expansion interfaces such as printing and communications.

Weighing instruments are the key to electronic weighing instruments. The quality of weighing instruments directly affects the quality of electronic weighing instruments. Therefore, before conducting the compatibility check, we must first ensure that the weighing instrument, which is one of the key components of the weighing instrument, has the corresponding type batch certificate and the complete set of test data. If the data is incomplete, the corresponding item of the compatibility check cannot be completed. At this time, it is necessary to supplement the data or perform the batch-type test according to the mode of the whole machine.
