Xi'an Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Center Construction Project passed the acceptance test

The Department of Condition and Finance of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Comprehensive Planning Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Education jointly organized the Xi'an Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Center jointly established by the three ministries and commissions. The construction unit is the Institute of Earth Environment of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The unit is Xi'an Traffic. The university project has undergone acceptance. At the same time, the unveiling ceremony of the Xi'an Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Center was held.

The expert group listened to the project preparation work of the researcher Zhou Weijian, the chief scientist of the Xi'an Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Center, and checked the acceptance documents. The main equipment and related ancillary facilities of the Xi'an Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Center were inspected on the spot. After questioning and replying, the inspection team considered that: The construction unit actively cooperated and created good experimental working conditions. The selection of equipment was correct and the funds were used reasonably. The construction tasks of the Xi'an Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Center were successfully completed, and the construction project was unanimously approved.

The expert group hopes that the center will be fully open as soon as possible in accordance with the requirements of the national large-scale scientific instrument center management method, and gradually become a well-known application center serving the earth, science, life sciences and other research fields at home and abroad. The center of the level of talent, equipment applications and the center of functional development.
